I have decided to part ways with my 3Ware 9690SA-8I-SGL RAID controller, so it is up for grabs. This would be a great card for a file server or a workstation. I used it in my desktop when I was backing up some blurays, but I never ran it constantly in a 24/7 server or anything. The throughput on large file transfers is amazing. I am moving to a new, much smaller place, so I am forced to part with some of my toys. This is the 8 port version, and I will include two breakout cables so you can connect up to 8 SATA hard drives. One of them is sleeved (in black MillionDollarPC sleeving *very class imho*), and the other is of the standard red variety. Also included is the low profile bracket. How much for this magnificent piece of hardware you ask?
