Frustrating network problem... please help

ok here's the deal, last night I lost my connection to the internet, However, I can still connect to my local network perfectly with that computer and all the other computers on the local network are still connected to the internet. I've tried connecting that computer directly to the modem and it still cannot see the internet. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Have you power cycled your modem yet?
Edit: power cycle your router too while your at it.

unplug the modem, then plug it back in. if this doesnt work contact your ISP and see if they are having outages.

what do you have cable or dsl. are you using PPPoE or DHCP? do you have a modem or a router/modem or router?

make sure that you have a gateway address enabled

Yes, just a TEENY bit of information about your setup, both network and computers just might be of some help. Better yet, you could actually give detailed information. Just a thought.
