answer is no. and you ahve to register. and they say they "cant process my info at this time" when i try to register.
 
I have my movie download and the content is protected which sucks...I really wanted to burn this movie. Im gonna trip to rip it to a dvd then rerip it back onto the hd...hopefully it would work? :/

It will make a folder called "D:\Program Files\Movielink\MovielinkManager\data\content" (If you have more than one hard drive, check both as this ended up on my secondary hard drive for some reason)

The video files are there, but I can't really do much with them. Anyone know how to take the drm out? ;)

Write to an image and rip from the image?

Use the directshow filter with avsfilter?

I dunno... wmv drm is supposed to be very strong.
 
I tried writing an image then ripping it, all with alcohol....it doesn't do crap :(

I really don't care about wasted cds either as I have like a million, but I can't think of anything to do with it. I can't burn it within wmp either, it says i'm not allowed

earthscore didnt know what he was talking about, um you could burn it with nero or some other similar program, it doesnt matter that it is a .wmv protected file...but i dont know that if you ripped it back onto your hard drive by just dragging it over that it would be unprotected
 
I meant as an SVCD or MPEG2.... transcode it.

I haven't finished downloading yet, looks to be around 1-2 mbit/s
 
peterhoang2002, it only DLed at 1000kbps when my connection is 1.5mbit. not bad, but not good.

tylerhskate, i made an image, then dragged it off and it's the same.

kleptophobiac.....download one of the small preview and try to do whatever you are talking about, then let us know if it's possible and how to do it :)
 
Also, does the thing have a built in bw monitor somewhere? I've been using the windows net traffic util.

ehh what u talking about 'kill-trial' - what does it have to do with the WMV files?
 
Seeing as their trial movies, persay... As you can only use them for one month(omg! like a trial :rolleyes: )
 
I want to burn the movies with some type of converter, i dont give a shit about a trial, plus it cant be removed if its on my desktop anyways..i dont even have that movielink program anymore
 
Worthless website is crashing and freezing when I try to checkout with my movie. It deducted my coupon code but didn't allow me to dl the movie. Meh. Maybe I'll give it another try with a different email account later.
 
u can watch only for 24 hours then it expires ;) It is not a program, it is a not a trial, it's a media protection, so that proggy u linked won't do sh*t here :D
 
Hmm... downloading "Soul Plane" as we speak at 340kb/s. We'll see if I can find a solution to this trial ordeal ;).
 
I'm not sure I understand how this works. Does the movie just stop working after 24 hours?? I mean, I copied to to cd, just a data cd, not svcd or anything, to transfer it to my laptop. So, can I still watch it on there even after the initial "24 hours"?
