Got hooked up, thank you guys!

Just trying to put a tiny caselab case to work with spare parts that have been taking up a shelf since caselab closed shop. Looking to get a CPU and RAM for an ASUS Strix B360 Gaming board.

If you're unsure if your parts will work can ask me or check the supported links are below but I'm looking for an 8th gen CPU and two sticks of RAM. Shoot me a PM with details and price shipped to California (93306). Not particularly picky, but would appreciate it if the parts were known working when decommissioned and hoping for at least 16gb of RAM. Have some heat or be known around these parts please.

Get rid of those old parts so I can use my shelf! Hoarding is bad, ask me how I know (hint, see above).

Bump hoping a different crowd might see it. Hope everyone's healthy and having a good weekend!

I have a 9700k and 2x8 crucial ballistix cl16 3200 kit in my spare parts bin. Probably not the best fit for a B360 board though. Are you specifying 8th gen and pointing to a CPU list with my 9th gen part on it because you have some price ceiling in mind?

That and laziness, but just didn't want to go chop out all the cpus I thought would be too expensive because I'd just be guessing.

I was hoping to pick up cpu and ram to me for this board for ~$250. I thought I might score a plain 8500 or so and boring ram for that due to a few local prices but both the locals got weird when I said I'd like to see them post real quick before we finished the sale (and I'd bring the system).

Figured I could trust the folks here more so made the post. Reality is that if I can't find a less expensive cpu, I'll likely buy whatever will work and pay more. This particular machine just doesn't need much, it's going to essentially be a stream box with my spare parts that have been collecting dust.
