[Fool.com] - NVIDIA Corporation's New Gaming Graphics Cards Seeing Fast Adoption

Once again, name facts. Every single one we have points at Pascal massively outselling Polaris.

Facts don't matter any more on tech-forums...now "people" want to ban facts...says it all doesn't....when reality suddenly becomes "flamebait"...

Just watch how, not facts, but "feelings" will try and get facts dispelled.

The observant ones will notice how it is not facts that "pollute" the thread...

Well since statistics is definitely a no go maybe we can get the point across with probability.

So you're saying the sample is small and the data only reflects trends within the sample and not the global population (of steam users).

Well what are the odds of the randomly chosen sample randomly being skewed towards NVIDIA for years?

Why should we entertain the remote possibility of this happening? Would it not also be equally probable that the results be skewed for AMD?

What factor could possibly be making this incredibly unlikely event recur month after month after month, and always in NV's favor?

Don't worry that right there is too much logic for them lol.

Just given the fact AMD did not talk about marketshare this Q's conference call for graphics tells us something big. Of course these guys don't understand things like that.

I was about to say something about Occam's Razor, but I doubt they will understand anyway so...

Let people think that the obvious isn't true. Who cares?

In the meantime Jen-Hsun will fan out fifty $100 bills in front of his face and breathe in the smell of crisp, freshly-inked cash while sinisterly laughing about his next Lamborghini purchase. Lisa Su will be doing the same but with food stamps.
