Greetings,
So I finally got my computer up and running, and of course the first thing I think to do after installing everything is, OVERCLOCK.. I bumped up the multiplier to 166X12.. The idle temps are reading 40-41C (CPU temp) and MB is 28C according to the BIOS.. @2700+ speeds on stock cooling, is this a safe area.. I dont want to put it under load yet, until I know it's perfectly safe.. This is my FIRST time overclocking..
2500+
1gb corsair XMS
true 480PSU
WD Raptor
A7N8X deluxe..
Next.. Do you think I should try and push it a little higher.. Maybe to 2800+ or higher.. I dont know If I should take the chance, or will nothing really affect it THAT much..
Thanks
