My mom isn't sure which program to choose, I know little about both programs but prefer access by default due to its operability with other MS products and because we already have it.

Is there any benefit to using microsoft access over file maker pro? I don't have a Mac so I don't need any operability there, biggest concern is that file maker pro is bloated.
