I just finished typing up the story and entering the card into our database over at GPUReview.com.

Here are the lovely links:
GeCube's Product Overview
GeCube's Specifications
GPUReview's HD 2600 XT page.

Core: 800MHz
Memory: ??? (Probably 1,100GHz)
RAM: 256MB GDDR4 (Notice that the box says 512MB? I did.)
DVI-HDMI exclusive dongle
400 watt PSU recommended, but the card does not require directly from the PSU.

Really similar to the 8600gts, you have about the same ratio of shaders relative to the top end parts: 320/120 for ATI, 128/32 for Nvidia. Same memory bus at 128, and similar memory speeds. Dosen't look like it will smoke the gts, though I hope it will so theres something DX10 worth buying at less than 200$.

Hmm? How do you calculate your ratios? Last time I checked, 320/120 ~ 2.67 and 128/32 ~ 4. :p

We'll see how they perform...just saying your math is horribly wrong.

F'ing better hope so anyone have any release dates? So sick of this x800

ATI cards have more but they stream processing units run at 1/3 of speed of the nvidia card .

That's not the point. We were talking ratios.

8800 GTX is 575/1350 MHz core/shader clock - 128 SP.
8600 GTS is 675/1450 MHz core/shader clock - 32 SP.

2900 XT is 742 MHz core clock - 320 SP.
2600 is 800 MHz core clock - 120 SP.

8600 GTS has a slightly faster clock speed, and 1 / 4 the stream processor power of its flagship.
2600 has a slight faster clock speed, and 1 / 2.67 the stream processor power of its flagship.

This is the context of my statement.

I was actually thinking of the GTS's 96 stream processors when i cam up with the similar ratios thing in my head.
