factory water cooler with fx8150 on the egg

If it's true then 300mhz faster, but $100 extra for that cooler?
 
Ya if you look on the main fx selection the others say 3.6 stock. This one says 3.9. wonder if its a typo on the 3.9 as that may be the the first turbo speed up. The cooler had better be as good as another 100 dollar cooler if the spped is a typo.
 
I'd put money on it that it's a typo. Two reasons, (1) is that the listed speed is 300 MHz higher, the amount for Turbo Boost, and (2), where is the logic for AMD to designate the exact same model to two processors, but have one run 300 MHz faster than the other, and you differentiate them by whether you bought a water cooler with it (or not). It makes more sense for it to be a typo.

The price is nothing special when you consider that a 2600K with an H20 920 or an H80 will cost you a similar amount.
