Hello!

Would someone be able to help clarify the resolution/monitors supported by the GTX 780?

I'm currently using the DP for a 3440x1440 monitor.

I'd like to add a 4k monitor but am seeing different responses on the internets. Supposedly the GTX 780 has HDMI 1.4 and if I use both the DP and HDMI, I would get 4k@60Hz over DP but 3440x1440@49HZ over HDMI.

Is this correct?

The GTX 780 should be more than enough for Hearthstone and Dota2 at 4k maxed out. However, if it can support both these monitors, would 49Hz be noticeable as a degradation?

Why are you asking us when you own the monitor? Swap inputs and see if 49hz bothers you.

Then if you like it, buy second monitor to play cards at ungodly high resolution.

I don't have the 4k monitor and I won't want to purchase if the HDMI is going to kick down to 49HZ with both active.
