hey, its been a while since i have posted about a video card, i got a evga gtx 470 for $240 from newegg

i can step up for $110 to a gtx 570 now i am wondering if the its worth the $110.

i play on 1920x1080 i play wow, almost all the cod's COH's i play as well,

my gtx 470 stays cool i have the fan @ 70% or 75% and it never goes in to the 70's always about the 60's

I am just wodnering if i would see a gain worth the $110 that i would pay out, i have about 2 1/2 months or so left on my step up program thru evga

thanks

I am in the same boat, but I have a GTX 460.

I am leaning toward Yes, but input from others would be helpful.

I would say yes. For $110 more it's a worthwhile upgrade IMO. It has good features and is highly overclockable from what I've seen so far. It should be much faster and more stable when overclocked and should last you much longer than the GTX 470. With more demanding shooters coming in 2011 I'd say get the 570. Crysis 2 may give you a real problem soon and you'll be happy you have the extra power.

$110 isn't bad for the improved GTX570.

It's either that or sell your GTX470 and get something better.

GTX570 looks like a good card.
