Pretty much anytime I do an over-the-top overclock inwhich results in a system unable to boot, I find myself stuck with the Post Code "C1" which basically said something about detecting the memory? Anyways, its only fixed after I reseat the memory, which I feel is a bit excessive for just an overclocking crash. Is there something wrong with my memory or anything else, or is this completely normal?

EDIT: When I say im unable to do anything until I reseat the memory, that means Ive tried resetting the CMOS

Try pulling the plug out of the wall for 30+ seconds and then rebooting.

I get that sometimes too. The light on my case will go on and off and I can't power on till it stops. I never understood that. This happened on all stock settings too. Is this a problem with memory?

some newer mobos support auto bios reset after OC crash, but the oldschool ones like to have cmos reset, but depowering is also likely to work
