[January 20, 2004, Taipei] - Drawing on its many years of experience in integrating R&D, manufacturing and applications for computer systems, EPoX Computer is introducing graphics cards based on nVIDIA graphics chips, pairing them with EPoX`s motherboards or eX5 barebones systems. EPoX Computer is providing customers with a completely integrated computer system solution, and one-stop service and support. Moreover, with EPoX`s sales and service centers located throughout the country, it is capable of providing fast, personal repair and value-added technical support services for its graphics cards. Users can thus enjoy the most total assurance of satisfaction.

The products being released by EPoX Computer include:

EM graphics cards using the nVIDIA GeForce4 graphics process units include the following models:
EM440 - adopts the nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440-8 graphics processor, with 64MB DDR memory.
EM4000 - Uses the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX4000 graphics processor with 128MB DDR memory.

The EM Series deliver blazing-speed 2D and 3D graphics acceleration for most popular programs and games currently on the market. These graphics cards can also fluidly replay DVD with their HDTV support and video acceleration capabilities. The dual-display feature supports analog and digital display, and in landscape or portrait orientation. With all the functions, make EPoX`s EM graphics cards the best-of-class solutions.

For 3D power users, EPoX offers the FX series graphics cards, which include the following models:
EF595U - adopts the nVIDIA GeForce FX5950 Ultra graphics processor, with 256MB DDR memory
EF570 - adopts the nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 graphics processor, with 128MB DDR memory
EF560X - adopts the nVIDIA GeForce FX5600 XT graphics processor, with 128MB DDR memory
EF520 - adopts the nVIDIA GeForce FX5200 graphics processor, with 128MB DDR memory

The EF series enhances all the capabilities of the EM series, taking performance to a higher level, such as faster 2D/3D graphics acceleration, and better and faster antialiasing and texture filtering for incredible image quality without performance degradation.

Most of all, the greatest technical breakthroughs in the EF series graphics cards are the nVIDIA CineFXTM engine. The engine is able to run the Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL shading language programs (called shaders). The programmability together with 128bit floating point graphics pipeline open the door to the cinematic-quality special effect and studio quality colors to all PC users and future 3D application.

The design of EPoX Computer`s graphics cards reflects its reputation in the industry for superior overclocking solutions. EPoX is launching EM series graphics cards model that use 2.8ns MBGA high-speed video memory, not only providing the best possible stability, but also the overclocking potential, making it the best choice for users.

I read this a few weeks ago. It is great news for comsumers. Epox should make some kickass OCing cards.
