DVD rip to .iso on mac

I need a program that can rip dvds to .iso format on the mac. something like dvd decrypter on the pc. Any suggestions? thanks

Use Disk Utility. Select the disk, click New Image, away you go. Granted, it'll create a .cdr file instead of an .iso file, but they're the same thing anyway. You can always use Terminal to convert the .cdr to .iso if you're really set on that format for whatever reason.

Alternatively, Firestarter FX might be what you need.

if your doing this for movies.. go with Handbrake, it wont rip to ISO, but it will take movie files and convert them to playable formats (lots to pick from.) Alternatively, Mac the Ripper works pretty well. If you are just taking DVD disk and making .ISO copies for other reasons, what terpfen said is the best way to do it.. disk utility.
