Dual Monitor

If you're using windows, ultramon is pretty good.

If you want a freeware version of Ultramon and save the $40 try MultiMon Task bar

fixed your link ;)
also note the limitations, issues in W2K w\ ATi
second monitor must be to the right
both monitors have to have the same resolution

also depending on the card, multiple monitor software is often bundled
nVidia, ATi and the grandaddy of multiples Matrox (with still some of the best software)
or the OS, LInux offers lots of alternatives, some built in depending on distro
(I use Suse 9.3 desktop manager alot)

but on my W2K boxes I too have Ultramon

I like Multimon but what i'm really looking for is a program similar to nview. Since I don't have an nvidia card I can't use it. I want something that will let me adjust which monitor different windows or applications open on.

Thanks for the link fix. Maybe it's because I'm on WinXP instead of Win2k, but I haven't noticed any problems in Multimon yet, and I have my second monitor to the left.

I just always like to throw it out there for the cheap people out there (like myself) who like to try a freeware program before paying for something else.
