I bought the Games for Windows version of Metro 2033 for $50 from a local store. I get home, pop in the cd, try to install the game, but I have to log into my Steam account. Then I have to wait for Steam to update itself, then I have to restart Steam & log-on again. Then I get to type in the activation code & instead of installing the game off the cd, Steam starts to D/L the game from their Slower than Shit servers. About an hour or so later I'm still fuckin waiting to play my $50 game. When Finally it's done !!! No they were only fuckin kidding because now I have to wait for the game update to download !! So another 20 minutes later & finally I can start to play my game which I don't even want to F'in play anymore because I'm too tired from waiting for all Steams slower than crap D/Ls to get done. So I was wondering if Microsoft & Uncle Billy Bought Steam. Because they really want me to buy an X-Box & play all my games on it instead of my PC. Anyone else had this wonderfull experience with a product you paid good $ for ????
