Does anyone know how to open BIOS Password for Probook 6560b?

I bought a used laptop from a local dealer. The machine is fine but the BIOS is locked. I have tried all the ways of opening BIOS password including removing CMOS battery but these are not working.

My question is how to open the password when the machine is not in warranty?
I am told that a SMC.bin file is required to open the Probook. But how do I get it when the product is not under warranty?

I tried contacting HP but they always show error when I try to open a case with them.
Can someone in this forum help me?

I can remove it for you. PM me.

From experience, this tool works on most Probook / Elitebook sandy bridge and earlier: Link to OG Thread

If you buy an off-lease refurb you might need to write it to a spare sata drive, if the company that owned it previously locked down boot options.

If link to file is down, I can get you one via PM tomorrow.

That thread is several years old, I'm unsure if the author wants it freely distributed presently.
