I really quickly need to know how to go from 192.168.168.60 to 192.168.0.10 Netmask is 255.255.255.0 and I don't care about the gateway or whatever, since it's not going out to any other network.
I'm a TOTAL sun noob, so pretty good instructions are necessary. Thanks to whoever can help!

Just to be sure. Are you running Solaris?

Well, anyway read the manpage on ifconfig.

How would I know?
And manpage? Remember, TOTAL noob here, All I see is a program running something looking kinda like windows with no config or console or nothin.

I found a console! I'm checking the ifconfig manpage I googled, but I'm a tad confused. Assistance?

Alright, i got through enough to figure out that I'm not logged on as root. I can't find the login ability, so I'm just going to leave it. Thanks anyway.

to change to root, type:

su root

hit enter, then enter the root password.

what version of Solaris..
do read the ifconfig man page on the computer
as it can be different than on Linux... ie; "plumb" "addif" etc
