My rips and burns have really slowed down and I noticed that although the IDE ATA/ATAPI> Primary IDE Channel transfer mode for both Device 0 (DVD burner) and Device 1 are set to Device Type: "Auto Detection" and Transfer Mode: "DMA if available", the Current Transfer Mode always reverts to PIO mode and it takes over an hour to burn a DVD.
Any idea why this is happening? I have not uninstalled or rolled back any drivers lately.
My burner is a Samsung SH-S182M. I use 1ClickDVD Copy Pro, DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter.
