Disk Access

Vista keeps accessing the hard drive. I looked at the performance and it says that it belongs to the system process. I have indexing turned off. It constantly accesses it.

Has anybody had this problem before?

It's not a problem, it's Vista doing it's thing. There are other optimizations besides just indexing, so give it about 1 to 3 weeks, depending on your usage, and it should settle down.
