Different 4850 brands for Crossfire?

I guess this is a relatively simple question, but would it be a problem to use two different brands of 4850s for a CrossfireX setup? For instance, could I get one Asus 4850, and one MSI 4850 without seeing any sort of problems?

I'm under the impression that this would work just fine, but I wanted to be sure that there's no disadvantage to doing so. Thanks.

I'm considering either crossfire for 4850's on my P5Q Pro or a single 4870.

Should be fine. The Asus has fan control software if you are planning on the stock cooling. As far as Crossfire, that depends on your needs. If you want inexpensive, but good performing Crossfire, 4850's are a good choice. Or, depending on what you are planning on playing/doing, a single 4870 for now, and another 4870 when you decide you need it would be a good way to go.
