Interesting read on console/pc cross-platform play:

http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/07/2...orm-play-because-console-gamers-were-too-bad/

Here's a snippet:

"So partially for this reason—console gamers didn’t stand a chance against PC gamers—that Microsoft decided to kill the project. Maybe that’s good (would PC gaming be more popular today?), maybe that’s bad (would PC gamers have to put up with 12-year-olds screaming stupid nonsense at the top of their lungs all game long?). Who knows."

This is old and its some guys opinion.

edit. Cross platform play exists today.. go buy Shadowrun, Lost Planet or Universe at War. I think the arguments made in this guys 'blog' are common sense but there is no proof behind any of it.
double edit. If you're going to start threads and just post a link, next time try avoiding peoples blogs.

July 20th doesn't classify as that old. And it's new to me. Don't need to be so defensive.

I played Shadowrun, on the PC side. The controls on it were so gimped down that being on a kb/m went from being an advantage to being a disadvantage.
