This game has been on my mind a bit lately and I've considered going back and playing it on an old PII DOS machine. The GoG release is good, but I want to actually play it the way it was intended and there's also something oddly satisfying about switching between the 5 game discs.
This game was one of those that absolutely defines an era of gaming during my childhood. I first played it in 1997 and didn't actually stop playing it until sometime around 2001-2002. It was absolutely stunning when it was release and very ahead of it's time as far as graphics and scope of the story are concerned.
The strange thing is that I've never actually talked to anyone that actually played this game in the 90's. I have this huge love in my heart for something that I can't relate to with anyone.
