Thing is, blizzard is the one that offered first 30 days money back guarantee. So they kind of set themselves up for it.

Not our fault, but this game sucks and lacks the 'fun' factor that previous titles had.

This game discourages playing with your friends in inferno mode, so most of the time you will be spending your time alone grinding inferno. Couple that with the fact that melee characters suck and can't kite like ranged classes can, made me quit this game and ask for a refund.

Not to mention that legendary and set items suck in this game compared to rares and blues.

Bottom line, we play games to have fun, diablo 3 wasn't fun, therefore a refund is acceptable especially when Blizzard is offering it.
 
This game is so boring if for not hardcore mode.

There is absolutely zero thrill in playing Diablo 3 without the thrill of sudden death.

Dying over and over again at the same point, farming the auction house and eventually being stuck end game in Inferno is no appealing in any way.

Hardcore is what Diablo 3 is all about.

Glad I could help.

Act 3 is much much slower than act two. I found a good farming section. Its not fast, but I'm starting to get drops that can sell for 6 figures on the AH pretty easily.

I need to replace my rings and ammy. I can get some good upgrades to keep my dps high and add some extra survivablity off of them, but those trinkets are pushing the 3m range :(

Until you get to the mobs in HC that are so difficult / dangerous you move so slow it's no longer fun for that reason. They should increase drop rate of high quality items in HC. That could make the grind more worthwhile and fun.
 
well I finally bought diablo 3 I realize I'm late to the party but anybody wanna play together? I liked the demon hunter the most back in the beta but haven't even looked at the change logs yet. I'm downloading the game right now. Finally got some student loan money back for this semester and just couldn't resist. I'm going to try to finish up my homework due tuesday while the game is downloading
 
Ok, haven't played in 3 days due to Power supply shortage, apply patch, go in, ALL OF MY SHIT IS GONE! EVERYTHING! ALL MY GOLD, ARMOR/WEAPONS, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Did I get hacked?!?!

Submit a ticket and get an authenticator.

Did you check your friends list? There may still be the name of one of the characters the hacker is using to launder gold.

How do I submit a ticket? And for what? To get my stuff back or for a refund of the game?

I just read the authenticator doesn't work for D3.

The dial in one doesn't. After I got hacked I downloaded one for my phone. I would also change your email password and d3 password.

I submitted my ticket by loging in, pressing esc, and clicking customer support (Or whatever it is). There is a "help, I think I was hacked" section.

I don't even know why I just asked that... of course there's not. There will always be hackers out there.

More than likely you have a virus on your PC. Make sure you do a virus scan or change your passwords from a PC that isn't compromised.
 
lol, I think you're right. Most sites I'm going to say "this site isn't trusted".

Doing a full scan now, then will run malwarebytes.
 
If you have a smart phone download the authenticator app from itunes or google play.
 
FUCK!

Not working. Trying to do the mobile authenticator but it's asking for a 10 digit serial number when this clearly isn't a 10 digit number.
 
Is anyone else getting so much lag that the game is pretty much unplayable? This is incredibly frustrating since I'm playing by myself.
 
Tried to login but I'm stuck at "Retrieving hero list...". 19 days after launch and there are still login problems... this is ridiculous.
 
Same. Figured out how to get around the launcher updating the game everytime I play, now I can't start a game. Hope this is going to fix itself soon and it's a non-recurring thing.
 
Well, I just got in and instantly died due to lag. One second I'm hitting things and the next second everything just stops. A second later the game comes back and I'm not even close to where I was standing before and my health is basically at 0. Before I could react any further I was dead.

I have no idea if its on my end or Blizzards shitty servers but this is seriously bullshit. I hate the fact that no matter how many people complain about this stupid always on DRM shit that it will never go away. Sigh, maybe one day...

"More than likely" is simply not true. I was hacked and I am very diligent about keeping a very clean system.
 
Got to that fat farting mini boss yesterday. A dh friend was tagging along and we died about 20 times to him because his dot mostly meant instant death. Then he left and I was able to beat him in one shot. The scaling is just stupid.

Then I worked at moving through siegebreaker, which produced possibly the easiest five stack of valor since act 2 inferno started and some great items for once including a 830 dps magic wd knife that had a going rate of 350k + but I unloaded quickly for 250k.

The miniboss at the end of siegebreaker was a piece of cake also with mote great drops. I can see why people farm this area now.

I was just trying to help the guy and keep him from changing passwords on a compromised PC. That's all. If it really wasn't then I didn't hurt him in the long run.

I had all my gold stolen from me. Luckily my items weren't worth stealing I guess. Still waiting for a rollback for my character. I've been waiting for almost 2 days now, and I'm seriously contemplating getting a refund.
 
rollback is not worth it. takes too long, you lose levels potentially and its too easy to replace gold and gear with a little grinding. You can make your character workable again in a couple hours rather than waiting days for Blizzard

So any positive malware readings during your scan? I'm curious to see how subtle these attacks can be. Back when I played WoW, my system was compromised despite only going to trusted sites. My best conclusion was that even trusted sites can have their ads compromised and malware can be installed undetected (btw, I DID find malware after the fact, but I simply did a full system restore to be safe).

Well I'll probably stop trying to do Inferno until they make some changes. Call me a casual or a bad player and five or sever years ago I might have given a damn, but Act 2 is ZERO fun as a monk. Don't want to farm gold anymore to buy items off the AH anymore in hopes that I have sufficient gear. This game started out great, but has turned into nothing more than a gold farming simulator for me at higher difficulties.

"Oh yay! I farmed this much gold this session! Time to see what I can buy on the AH!"

No. Just no more. Looks like it's back to Battlefield 3. :(

That Bashiok also have been trolling throughout their official forums and blame its player's fault along with blizzard defense force.....

Exact same situation for me, but I'm just in act 3 of hell. I started to login today, and I just thought to myself, why? I can't think of one reason I want to keep playing at this point. I exited the game and uninstalled. My steam backlog is way to long for me to punishing myself, playing a game I honesty just hate at this point. Started off okay, but it's just a miserable unrewarding bitch now.

And a big fuck you to Blizz and all the other asshats defending them on this hacking bullshit and consistently blaming the victims. I haven't been hacked yet, but it's just a matter of time I'm sure. Yeah, some people are stupid, and its their fault, but this is so far out of hand it's ridiculous.

I feel somewhat similar. I'm only in A1 Hell with my Monk, but I just don't have that urge to play this game like I do with many others (or did with D2LOD for that matter). Hell, I still fire up Fallout2 from time to time, and it's been how many years now?

I'd say I regret my purchase, but the CE's skull does fit nicely at the bottom of my monitor, so I can't say it was a complete waste.
