I just got this motherboard because I wanted to switch over to PCI-E and keep my processor at the same time and somethin seems odd. Everything works ok, even overclocked now.. but, my temperature probe reads at 8-11C idle. The socket and my XP90 ARE right infront of my 120mm intakef fan, so its blowing through the fins, and the 92mm fan on top is blowing air onto them too. But is this a correct reading? it seems really really low.

Yes it could be possible, but only if your room temperature was extremely low. I doubt u would be less than a 20c rise in temp over ambient at load with your setup. What are your load temps? What is your room temp?

edit: Btw, as reference my idle temps on a 1.62v Venice @ 2560 mhz hover between 21 and 25c (room about 20c). It mostly hovers @ ~23-24c. At load I am getting 35c. This is on the following setup: White Water + Pro Core + 80cfm fan. The heatercore sits and pump sit in an external enclosure. Air is drawn fresh from room.
