Im trying to set up raid0 on a abit ic7-max3, but i cant.
Im using 2 x 160GB seagate SATA hard drives.
first of all when it asks me to load Scsi/raid drivers by hitting f6 before XP installs i do so and load the onboard intel raid driver.
once in desktop, i load the mobo chipset and raid drivers. now the problem is the driver that is being detected by Xp is the silicon software raid driver not the onboard one which is made by intel.
i cant proceed to install the mobo's raid drivers, everytime i do it says software not detected, thats because my satas are plugged into sata1 and sata2 which are the onbard ports.
Could someone give me a step by step simple instruction on how to actually raid0 with this mobo, cause its driving me mad.
Thanks.
