Dell M1530 update( SCREEN OPTIONS)

Sweet, I caught that last night. I'm looking to return my HP in a week or two and get this instead.

I asked somebody else this question but didn't get a reply so far, maybe some of you know. If I got one of the higher res options would it affect the battery life? Or is this something nobody has really figured out. I'm asking cause I'm fine with the default res screen, but if the battery life is the same I'll go for higher res for movies and photos. :D
 
Screen resolution doesn't affect the battery life, back light and screen size affects battery life.

Not necessary, higher res would mean the 8600M GT working harder, more juice for the GPU. In a way it does, maybe not in 2d as much but 3d yes. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
