OK - I have very awsome install of Fedora Core 2 Linux - I have a very unresolved problem.

I have installed Thunderbord from Mozilla.org and like this offer the Evolution mail client -

Now when I am surfing the web and come across an email link - when I click on this link, Fedora Linux automaticly launches Evolution mail - I hate copying the email address and having to paste this into Thunderbird...

Is there a way to tell KDE that my prefered mail client is Thunderbird? Please explain how...

Also just installed Mozilla Firefox and have the same problem...when I click a URL hyper link in an email - it will open Mozilla browser instead of my Firefox 0.9 browser...How can I explain to KDE that I use Firefox?

Can I remove Evolution mail and Mozilla?

click the little red hat in the task bar, go to Preferences, then go to Preferred Applications.

then set your default email client to whatever you want =p

next time, take a lil look around yer system, youd be amazed at whats installed by default to give you system control ;-)
