Now that Baldur's Gate 3 has shined a light on Larian,

DoS2 is a way for people who want more of a similar experience. It's for me, one of the best games I've ever played.
Steam has the game on sale now for $17.99 again!

And if you want to get more info, for some reason the last time I posted this some mod archived the thread to the hot deals discussion location as to why I think it's one of the best RPG's of all time!:

Here is also my stupidly long review of this title:

Great game for anyone who hasn't played it. You don't get the cinematic sequences and ties to DND that you get in BG3...but it's definitely a gem of a game.

I don't have to sit through cutscenes? Kewl!

I got excited about buying DOS2 after seeing this sales price, but found out I already had it in my Steam library. Bought it over 2 years ago. :ROFLMAO:

Totally worth.

One of the "jokes" I said in my ultra long review is that it could be run on an iPad. And sure enough last year (or 2 years ago?) they released an iPad version of Definitive Edition. As soon as that sucker is below $15, I'm going to buy it again. That's how good this game is. If I get too impatient, I might buy it for full price anyway. It's $24.99 for iPadOS at its regular price.

I hope they do the same for Baldur's Gate. M1/M2 is more than powerful enough.
