What I meant was that no professional review which I have read mentions it. Additionally, AMDs marketing materials and speciation don't mention it.
No it is the 1700 so there is no offset, still prime95 for over half an hour is not that realistic a load... The real issue is getting the hot air out of the case or getting cold air to the heatsink, it really gradually climbed in temperature, a degree every few minutes... I'm thinking about flipping the fan and adding a small foam gasket to get the heat out. I think it may stabilise at a lower temperature then.ah I see. what chip did you have again? if its a "X" chip there is that 20c temp offset to keep in mind. so your temp is really ~60c.
Note: If a reward is sold out we will add more rewards for the second batch that will ship two month later.
I have a quality microphone on hand so I decided to follow up on this. I measured system noise with and without the fan duct to see if there was any difference. For those who are using the shrouds, are you noticing an increase in sound reflection and thus louder fan noise for a given RPM? I noticed with my shroud the noise levels that temps are lower but despite the lower fan RPM, noise reflection meant that it was still louder. Maybe the use of foam in the recent shrouds mean this is less of an issue.
So are you planning on releasing a new version yearly? How much does shipping usually cost to california?
Also, Do most people get FE cards / Rear Exhaust Video Cards for this case?
Seems like a 1080 TI may be too much for a case this small. I'm probably going to get a $500 tier card instead, though I'm undecided on blower Vs nonref design

I have an FE Ti in my Dan case and its loud as fuck but it works great and on benches I get the same numbers as published reviews. There is no issue with the riser overheating or any of that nonsense from another thread.
I recommend increasing the fan curve to improve the throttling, or getting a better cooled Ti.
Thank you!! I had the same issue with my FTW3, i assumed it was just too damn big. Will try this and see if it works
january 2018What would be delivery time of these cases with the new kickstarter?

Mind sharing if you tried doing this already. Did you get mounted properly?
Still waiting for my FTW3 to arrive.

I don't have a real need for a m-itx case right now but maybe in a year or so I'll be ready to build something for it. Do you all think it would be worth it to get in on the kickstarter now? It's way before I need the case, but I really like it and haven't found any alternatives that are regularly produced.

OK, i just tried it. The answer as to whether it worked is yes and no. Yes because I could get one screw down using dondan's method, but not the other one. But i think the issue is because of how thick my PCIE cables are, they cause the GPU to sit in a little offset, becaused the PCIE cables are sandwiched betweeen the GPU and the PSU. So it will not be possible to get the second screw in, but I am happy it worked for the first screw
