On Very High I get around 25-38FPS, while on high I can average around 35-47 FPS. AA is off and VSync is off. My resolution is at 1440 x 900 and I am using the newest drivers + patch. Thoughts?

EDIT: SLI was off as I did not know it was off after a driver upgrade.

There are plenty or reviews to answer such questions.
If you need higher FPS, consider using one of the Crysis mods.
I'm using Cubans Crysis Config v1.31 on medium level at 1920x1080 res and get a timedemo of 42fps (8800GT 20% clocked, E8400 @ 4.1GHz, 4GB Ram, X38).
Consider clocking your CPU and gfx card, definite benefits to be had.

OCing a quad under an ACFreezer 7 Pro isn't going to go far... you're going to want a better HSF before you consider OCing, OP.

I just bought Crysis and I was wondering if my FPS are on target with my hardware. On Very High I get around 22FPS, while on high I can average around 25-32FPS. AA is off and VSync is off.

Guys, what he is asking is if his FPS is on par with most people who have a rig as close to what his is.

Yes it is close to what most people get with a Quad and 2 8800GT's.

Crysis is a really demanding game, if you want more FPS and AA go and get a 4870 and be done with it. You have two very nice GPU's that will last you for years to come.

How the hell did you figure that out?

Always put this in your head.

A single Card solution ALWAYS is the most efficient and cost effective. So i'd suggest a 4870x2 or a G80 or even a single 4870 will do.

2x8800gt will leave you disappointed with this game, trust me... Ive been there. I ended up selling one of my 8800gt's because it didnt justify the cost. Now I have a single 4870 and it runs crysis just fine as it is.

It is to late now for a change. The rig if a month old. I am only wondering if I am getting the most out of my machine without overclocking any components yet.
