Could I run a second GTX480 on my current system

Not planning it right now but possibly in the future, I'd rather not buy another PSU since it cost me a lot two years ago. I keep hearing 1200 minimum for SLi, if that's the case I'll wait for the GF100 die shrink and do it then. Specs in sig
 
Looking at the PSU spec's you should be fine. Should actually still have a little headroom.
 
My NZXT 1000W power supply is doing fine with 2 2480's, 2 Samsung F3 in Raid 0, Intel 80 SSD and 5 fans. No issues here
 
Yes you'd be fine but overclocking all your components could be a bit too much. If anything I'd overclock your cpu alone until you get a better power supply. Oh and don't do it now, wait about 30 days to see what prices GTX 480 fall to when the 5950/5970 come out then do it. You may save up to $100 on the second one.
