Corsair P128

I was thinking about picking up the Corsair P128 (128gb and 128mb cache) using the samsung board. It also has 220mb read and 200mb write. Is this the best deal at the moment? Anything on the horizon I should watch out for? I'm wanting to get my MBP ready for 10.6

Good SSD on good Samsung controllers.

General rule of thumb is to avoid anything on JMicron JMF602 internal controllers, which this SSD list with controllers would help in your search. Of the non-JMicron controllers, choose the ones that are either cheapest or have the best warranties or support.

A good, consistent leader in the SSD charts is Intel, but their SSDs traditionally cost more than the other brand SSDs. Their V2 X-25s are cheaper, though, and merit a look.
