Nice. I took a gamble on one of these - turned out it didn't work - as they said! I would wager you could offer $60-$70 and nab it. Mine came with the box and cables so it made it a worthwhile gamble.

I bought a bunch of these used when the miners were bailing out. It is my standard PSU now on all of my rigs. No regrets. It's so good. 😎

My friend bought 3 of these, 1 failed. That's a pretty high failure rate, IMO. Unless he got very unlucky.

Very strange. It's the best PSU ever made to date. I have never heard of those issues being widespread!

I have an offer for $80 and then they pay an additional +$22 for shipping. I sent in a counter offer of $90. It's been 12 hours and the other side hasn't responded yet.

Yes, this is my auction.

are there any oscilloscope print outs to back this, or because some reviewer said it had a pretty box and a platinum sticker?

You may wanna do some research on this unit. It was literally designed by jonnyguru himself.

This is the first computer PSU that uses Gallium Nitride... it has seriously high efficiency.
The biggest shocker was that when this PSU first came out on the market, they were selling them for RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP. I think they used to be around $250 or so.

I'm doing some google searching for PSU repair services, since my friend gave this PSU to me for free. It might be worth fixing if it can be done for around $100...

Sadly, the demand for such high efficiency isn't really all that there. Before this PSU came out, most modern PSU's were already pretty efficient to begin with.

Well I raised the price on this a tad bit because there was quite some interest in both views and offers. I don't care, I'm working with my friend to see if he can get an RMA as we speak so I'll just raise the price for the time being.

Here's why: Corsair's warranty sucks.
My friend is the one who bought the PSU two years ago.
He contacts Corsair about it and they only offered him "not even B Grade units for warranty replacement. Take it if you want, it's your choice."

That is pretty out of character for Corsair. I suspect that you haven’t been given the whole story by your friend. Either that, or he really just didn’t want the extra $200 he could have had by selling the supposed B-grade replacement - which would have paid for a BNIB retail 1600W T2 unit from EVGA.

He doesn't care about the extra $200, he had money to buy another one.

No need to post fake news.
IDK, its possible.
I've been sent brand new, higher priced replacements from corsair the two times i've used their warranty.

But everyone loves EVGA, and they've been terrible 4/4 times for me. Things happen.

I hear you. I was mostly kidding. But I do find Corsair to be awesome in my experience. EVGA, too. But I quit those guys!
