OK, after taking everyones advice, I finally bought a Dell 2001 fp.
Much better than the Hercules Prophetview 920 Pro DVI.
But, unfortunately, it has a dead sub pixel right in the very center of the monitor, which is annoying, because every time I open up MS Word, or any time a dialog comes up, it happens to bring that pixel to light.
When the screen is all blue or red, it looks fine. But when the pixel has any green, that's when it becomes noticable (looks like a magenta). I thought I read somewhere that certain pixels were correctable, but I searched, and was unable to find it. Something about certain pixels being unrepairable, and others being able to be correctable.
Am I out of luck with a green dead sub pixel?
