Copying boot drive with Win2K/NTFS

I need to find out what is REQUIRED to copy an entire boot drive (C:\) running Win2K and NTFS to a 2nd drive. With Win98 running FAT32, you could format (with system files added) a 2nd drive in the system, copy and paste the entire contents of the C:\ drive to the 2nd drive, power down the system, switch cables to make the 2nd drive the main drive, and reboot. I want to know whether I can do the above with Win2K running NTFS, and if not, why not? If someone has a link that explains this, that would be great! :)

Thanks for the response and the links. While I won't miss Win98 in terms of stability compare to Win2K, this is one area I will truly miss Win98.
