Cooler compatibility with video card

The issue is that the 7000 series is really old, and the 7300GT isn't really a GPU that needs a better cooler, as they aren't very capable in the first place.

Maybe his fan broke is what I'm thinking.

Now it's possible the 7300 uses the same PCB as the 7200 etc.. they also note that it's for reference design cards specifically and may not fit aftermarket cards.

It would be silly to buy a cooler for that old of a card, especially considering it was an entry level card when it was brand new. Your best bet is to take the money you spend on a cooler and get a new card. Anything you can buy right now will be an upgrade anyways.

I indeed can buy a new video card, but I need it very it with similar to 7300 GT properties. Th problem that a person who uses the PC has some eyes sensitivity, so that I could not use the on board video video card.
For example, is GT 720 like this one is comparable to 7300 GT?

yea the 720 would work, but not at that price lol. You're better off grabbing one off the trade / sale forums here at a cheaper price.

It is difficult to say what exactly is the problem wit his eyes, but he is just did not feel comfortable when he work with other graphical card (so of headache). With 7300 GT all was fine. So, I am looking for a card that will be as close as possible this old one...

Without knowing what the issue is, there is no way of knowing what a replacement would be. You're pretty much going to need to try cards until you find one that works.
