Conroe motherboard help

Hey guys I need a bit of help here I'm new to the intel scene and would like to know what motherboards will work with conroe doesnt really matter sli or crossfire or neither, as I have no clue what to start lookin for 775 is all I can say, any help would be much appreciated
 
The main one I can think of is the Intel 975XBXLKR motherboard.

This one supports conroe, but you have to get the right Rev to support conroe. Rev. 304 to be exact.

Theres a few other boards out there that I've been told that support conroe, but nothing solid.

Intel 975X Chipset
right or does it just need to be socket 775 cause i see ati and nvidia chipsets in that link on xs and im guessin its gonna be better to wait till end of july for a mobo then, sorry if i sound stupid but it would be my first intel so i knida have no idea whats going on here, and thanks for the help guys
