I have a NF7-S board and was going to buy some of this for it

However this RAM is cheaper and better

I am just trying to see if this RAM will work, just not to its full potential in my MOBO or not.
Even if you could find somewhere for the extra 56 pins to go... I'm not sure. :p

Just joshin' with ya. DDR2 isn't compatible with DDR based systems. In fact, AMD isn't going to be DDR2 capable until the processors go to socket M2 next year.

What memory do you have now and what processor? And what do you do with the system? That'll help us give you a recommendation for what's best for you. :)

Good point.

I have a gig in this system now, but I just got this NF7-S board so this ram is from my old system, PC2700 I think, just trying to get this system up to speed and put the old components back into the other one. Processor is XP1600+ , looking to upgrade that as well. Basically upgrading so I can play some newer games, so I will probally keep 3 sticks @ 1536 and one 512 in the other box.

Anyways the GIG of Cosair seemed like a good deal for about $80, I was going to jump on that unless you have another suggestion?
Are you looking to OC at all? Also, I would suggest sticking with only two sticks in that system so that way you can run smoothly in dual channel mode. Unless you're playing Battlefield 2, 1gig should be good, otherwise get 2 gigs. Try to get some low latency stuff, since the nF2 boards do like it.
