I've got the D-link dhp701 avc2000, mimo kit set up to 2 PCs in the kids' gaming den. The run is about 30' to an old dir655 I'm using as a gigE switch. The adapters are on different circuits, but the same AC phase.
The dlink utility shows link speeds ~394-512 Mbps. File transfer from a PC not on the powerline to one behind it (in this case nVidia drivers) reads 138Mbps in windows.
Speedtest.net on the main LAN results 8ms/212Mbps/38Mbps or 10ms/127Mbps/38Mbps from behind the powerline. The kids report low 20 pings to their Fortnite servers.
I'm thinking that this is best case for powerline, and more than adequate for gaming/surfing, or should I break out the powerdrill, flashlight and dust mask?
