Well, I'm not trying to rain on your parade here, but me thinks most folks here would consider the broken earpiece frame as a little more than just "cosmetic damage"

Granted it may not effect the sound quality overall, but sooner or later the fit on that side is going to get looser and looser until it becomes unusable....not even sure it could be fixed either.....

And FYI, I have several sets of Beats in my house and they are built really, really well, so I think it would have taken some fairly rough handling in order to break them like that...

I've had them in that condition for 2 plus years now so not sure how much longer you think it will take to just fall apart. As for how it broke if fell out my truck onto concrete and hit just right. It is purely cosmetic. The crack across frame is why I've taken over 100 off what I would actually want for them. That suffice for you?
