Anytime you change the page in IE like when you click on a link, there should be a click. The click is gone now and I have checked the control panel under sounds and devices and to no avail.

Anyone? Thanks a lot!

Volume turned up? speakers on? ..pluged in? ... or better question.. Why care, thats gotta be one of the most annoying things. I mean if you change pages rarely it might be fine but whe I'm doing a lot of things the last thing I want is a click every 2 seconds

I also turn off all my sounds that windows sets as defaults. If you want the sound back then it should be the name "start navigation" under the sounds option in the control panel , I believe this is where internet explorer gets that click noise from.

its in control panel > sounds and look for start navigation under explorer. i dont know which sound it is off the top of my head.
