Circuit City currently offers 160gb WD special editions for $80 after mail-in rebate.

I'm picking mine up today, but it's only available in store, not online .

WD rebates are very fast. If this is a WD plus a CC rebate, both will come within 6-8 weeks. I've received both usually in 4-5 weeks.

This isn't that hot of a deal. 2 weeks ago officemax had the same WD 160GB drive for $59.99AR. I used a $10 off coupon and got it for $49.99AR.

comp usa has it for 60 after rebates right now. the wd 160gig that is.

oops read a little further and there is a seagate sata 160 for 99 after rebates still at comp usa.

everyone should also factor in the warranty offered with those deals (or the potential to get an extended warranty from the manufacturers website on particular models) as part of the equation

Does anyone know if Circuit City will ever or does carry WD SATA HDD's? I have a bunch of gift certificates from Christmas for CC but I only want to buy SATA drives. Any info would be great. Thanks.
