Looking for input from people who own these cases.

I'm debating between the Silverstone FT01 and CM ATCS 840. The prices are roughly the same (from $200 for the silver 840, to $230 for the black (with window) FT01).

So if you own one of these cases what do you like/dislike about them?

Was about to buy one of the ATCS 840's when I realized it wouldn't fit for me! However, I did a lot of research before making the decision to buy. It was between the Sniper, the HAF, and the 840 for me. A Geeksquad friend of mine has the FT01 and he said it was OK, but he really liked the 840. Just curious are you planning to air or water cool?

Can't comment on the FT01, but I have an ATCS-840 and really like it. I wanted a big all alu case that was easy to work with and it met all my expectations. Pic here has Gigabyte Mercury, CM-690 and ATCS-840 (left to right)...:)

wow, that 690 is tiny compared to the 840...

I plan on air cooling, currently an 8400, maybe upgrade to an i7 920.

What is that screen you have in the ATCS-840? Is that a water cooling monitor?

Just received my ATCS-840 today from newegg. Overall impressions are good. Looks to be a very well built case with ample amounts of room and a well thought out design.

I plan on switching my system over from my p182 tomorrow and I'll post some pics.

Still haven't decided. They are both great cases, I think it'll come down to whether I need the space of the full tower. The 840 is actually taller than my old TJ07.

Just got done switching cases.

I still need to do some more cable management. :D

No specific problems with it, I'll take a look at it when I get home. Any reviews out on the innerwebs that you would recommend?
Here's few reviews of good ol' A70/71

I might have considered ATCS 840 very seriously or even chosen it if it had come little earlier but it was good that I strictly wanted case with best silencing potential and after something like four month active studying went for A71. I have seven AAM disabled HDDs of three models and it's extremely hard to hear their seek noises.
Even with generous damping weight of case is still same as that of undamped ATCS with its lot noisier design.
Side panels have some loose in their top edge attachment causing noise when tapping case but damping sidepanels stopped that completely. Plain bitumen mat is enough for mass loading so stopping that doesn't need thicker combination mats like I used everywhere:

As for working with case:
Better to have reinforced cutting wheels for Dremel... sure it's aluminum but alloy used by Lian Li is hard and makes basic cutting wheels good only for few centimeter/inch long cuts.
So angle grinder is best tool for making hole to motherboard tray for changing CPU heatsink's support plate without removing motherboard. (that idea I got from ATCS)
