In needing to remove the stock HSF to measure them for my custom watercooling ones i happen to notice the thermal pad along the VRM was still covered with a plastic protection layer!

Clearly Zotac have sweet FA quality control or some half wit working there!

Strongly susgest others check!!

At least they seem to use quality stuff. That looks like the white pads (white TIM infused gauze) used on higher end graphics cards.
