Cheap server build

Wondering what a good board to buy to go around a pair of Intel Xeon L5639's. These appear to be acceptably cheap at the moment so ideally would like a decent board to get as much bang for buck. The idea would be for it to go in to a virtual lab that I have been working on with really old hardware which I would migrate on to the new server. Would want 64 gb RAM or more support and not really caring too much about blistering speeds - mind u i might play the odd game sometime. second hand market for anything supermicro or tyan seems to be understandably limited but happy to wait for the right board (Z8PE-D12X ?) given i've waited such a long time for an upgrade already. SAS controller onboard would be cool but probably just dreaming.
