Certs

I'm not sure if this is the right for this thread, If not, just let me know.

Has any one gone to PcPro school or know any thing about it? I'm thinking about going there and getting certs for MS and Cisco.

I have to imagine that this is similar to ITT. Not bashing ITT, but of the three people I know that went there, they regret doing it.

If you're already in the computer field, or you've been working with the products, I would just recommend picking up the right books and learning the material yourself. The books are usually pretty solid and with VMs, you can easily get a lab up and going in no time.

Just grab one book and start from there. If you find you need an instructor led course, then you can check into a class. Going the DIY route could save you a TON of money, but some people just can't learn that way.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know anyone that went this route. I've been out of the field for a while and thought it may have been a way to get up to date.
