I get an error when starting 3dMark, saying I need to have DirectX 8.0 installed, well 9.0b is installed, and I have downloaded the latest update, build 340 I think it is, which is supposed to resolve the issue.
try re-downloading it and re-installing it (after completely un-installing the previous installation), maybe you just randomly downloaded a corruped file or something screwed up.
