This is going to be used for school mostly but I also want to be able to play some games. (mainly WoW, Marvel UA, UT2k4, Civ4)

I have decided to get a Dell e1505 as was going to get the Radeon x1400, but now they offer a Geforce Go 7300 GS. Both are 256MB with 128 from system memory. What I can't decided/figure out is most reading I have done says the x1400 is better for games, but the 7300 is $30 more for some reason  ? The other thing is I can not find is anything on the 7300GS every article I have read talks about the 7300. Is there any difference?

Here are the specs for the build I am looking at(copied from Dell)
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200
80GB 5400rpm SATA
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHZ
Windows Vista™ Home Premium

256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory
or
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7300 GS

Thank you all for your help in advance.

I have done a bit more looking and if I go with a Dell e1705 I can upgrade the video card to
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS
for about $200 more than the E1505 with either video card from above.

The drawbacks that I can see besides spending more money is the wieght of the laptop with a 17" screen. Are the extra money and weight worth the upgrade?

The weight will probably be more personal preference for portability... And upgrading from a 7300 to a 7900GS will be a major jump in video performance... :D

Thank you Tesher. As much as I tell myself this will be used for school work mostly, I know deep down I will spend 70% of my time playing games on it. ;)

Now if I can find a big enough coupon/discount to buy it so my wife does not kill me I would be great. The cheapest I can get it down to is $1300+Ship&Tax.:(
