Who makes one of the best 19" lcd monitors out there picture wise?

These monitors will be used to display digital x-rays and etc for a doctors office
and must be some of the best.

These monitors will run at 1020x1080 for the program that they are using.

NEC LCD1990SXi-BK is pretty much the highest end 19 inch LCD out there. Uses a 6 Lamp S-IPS panel.

No. that unit uses an S-PVA panel and only has an 8 bit LUT and is built for financial applications.

The best 19 inch on the market for x-rays and medical diagnostics is the LCD1990SXi-BK. This is used by major hospitals and healthcare associates all across the country. It uses an S-IPS panel and has a 12 bit LUT among a luandry list of other features for color critical work.

I would also recommend looking into getting it with the spectraview software so you can calibrate the internal LUT rather than the video card.
